Do I need an API key to use the Vuela MCP? +
No. There are no API keys and nothing to install. You add one connection URL, https://mcp.vuela.ai/mcp, and sign in with your Vuela account the first time you connect. Authentication is handled through secure OAuth, so your credentials are never pasted into the assistant.
Does the Vuela MCP work with ChatGPT and Claude? +
Yes. The connector works as a custom connector in Claude (web, Desktop and mobile) and in ChatGPT, plus any other assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol. You add it once under Settings then Connectors and it stays available across your chats.

Where do the files my assistant creates end up? +
Everything is created inside your Vuela account. Videos appear in My Videos, images in My Images and articles in My Content, ready to download or publish. The assistant is the interface; Vuela does the production and storage.
What happens when Vuela updates or adds MCP tools? +
Assistants cache the tool list when they connect and never show the server version, so they can lag behind updates. When we ship new tools, start a new chat; if they still don't show up or a tool errors, disconnect the Vuela connector and add it again. As a rule of thumb, reconnecting every now and then (say, once a month) keeps you on the latest version of the tools. It takes a minute and doesn't affect your account or your content.
