Why AI horror stories work
- Fear hooks fast: a creepy first frame stops the scroll better than almost anything.
- Dark, misty scenes hide the small flaws of AI video and make it feel more real.
- Multi-part stories ("part 2") bring viewers back to the channel.
Recipe to make your own
- Length:
- 30-60 seconds, 6-10 scenes
- Style:
- Dark cinematic, fog, cold light, slow camera moves
- Story:
- A normal situation, a strange detail, rising dread, a twist in the last line
- Audio:
- Calm narrator voice, low drones, silence before the scare
Short horror story: a night train conductor notices that one passenger has been on board for 50 years without getting older. Dark, cinematic, narrated, 45 seconds.

Frequently asked questions
How do you make AI horror story videos?
Write a short story with a hook in the first line and a twist at the end, generate dark cinematic scenes with an AI video model and add a calm narrator voice with tense sound design. Vuela creates the script, scenes, voice and edit from your idea.
Do horror Shorts need a narrator?
Most viral ones use a calm voiceover: it builds tension and lets you tell more story in less time.
Can I turn a real creepypasta into a video?
Original stories are safest. If you adapt someone else's story, check the author's permission or license first.
