Why AI trailers work
- A trailer is built from short shots, which is exactly what AI video models do best.
- Epic music, a deep voice and a title card make even a simple idea feel like a blockbuster.
- Fans share "what if" concepts of stories they love, which drives comments and reposts.
Recipe for an AI trailer
- Length:
- 45-90 seconds, 12-20 short shots
- Style:
- Cinematic, anamorphic look, dramatic lighting, consistent main character
- Structure:
- World, hero, threat, rising tension, title card, final twist
- Audio:
- Trailer voiceover in short lines, epic score with hits and silences
Cinematic trailer for a film about the last lighthouse keeper on Earth who sees a ship that should not exist. Epic, dramatic, 60 seconds, trailer voiceover.

Frequently asked questions
How do I make an AI movie trailer?
Write a one-line premise, split it into 12-20 short shots, generate them with an AI video model keeping the same main character, and edit them to an epic score with a trailer voiceover. Vuela does all of these steps from your premise.
Can I make a fan trailer of an existing film?
You can make concept trailers inspired by genres and ideas. Using real actors' faces, logos or footage from existing films can infringe rights, so keep characters and titles original.
How long should an AI trailer be?
Between 45 and 90 seconds for YouTube. For Shorts, cut a 30-second teaser that ends on the title card.
