How to sell on Amazon with AI: listing copy, product images, video and UGC ads

How to sell on Amazon with AI

Selling on Amazon is a content problem before it is a logistics problem. Your title, bullets, images, main image video, and external UGC ads carry 80% of the conversion. Producing all of that the traditional way means a copywriter, a photographer, a video editor and weeks of work. Or one AI workflow in Vuela.

This article walks through the real tools you'd use in Vuela, with the actual inputs each one takes. No invented fields, no fake settings.

Step 1. Generate the listing copy from the product URL

Open . The main input is straightforward:

  • Product URL (product_url): the public URL of the product on your store or marketplace. You can paste a single URL or several URLs in separate lines for bulk generation.

The AI fetches the product page, extracts features and attributes from the live HTML, and generates SEO-optimized copy: title, bullets, long-form description and meta. No need to type out the description from scratch — the source of truth is the URL itself.

Tip: if your Amazon listing is still in draft, point the tool at the equivalent page on your Shopify, your manufacturer site or any product detail page with the real specs. The output is the listing copy you'll paste into Seller Central.

Step 2. Restyle product images in the Image Playground

Amazon needs a pure-white background for the main image and lifestyle photos for the rest of the slots. Use the Image Playground at . It runs on the same engine as the Image Playground in the app, with templates ready for product photography:

  • Professional Product Image template: upload a product photo and the AI delivers a studio-quality version on white background, suitable as Amazon main image.
  • Restyle / Relight: adapt the lighting and aesthetic of any product photo to your brand style.
  • Background Change: swap the background for a lifestyle scene that matches your campaign.
  • Logo Everywhere: add your logo consistently across a batch of images.

If the original photo is low resolution, run it through first. Amazon recommends 2,000 pixels on the longest side so the zoom feature kicks in on the product page.

If the photo has busy or distracting backgrounds, gives you a clean cutout you can drop into any template.

Step 3. Generate the main image video

The video that plays in the Amazon main image slot is the single highest-leverage conversion asset. Use the to script and render it.

It runs on Vuela's video playground, which means you set:

  • The script or topic the AI uses to plan scenes.
  • Language and country (e.g. EN/US for Amazon US, ES/ES for Amazon Spain).
  • Aspect ratio (16:9 for the Amazon main slot, 9:16 if you'll also reuse it on Reels / TikTok).
  • Style and animation (photorealistic for product close-ups, illustrated for explainers).
  • Voice, music and subtitles.

A 20 to 30 second pacing works best: hook (a question or pain), demo (product in use), proof (a stat or callout), CTA.

Step 4. Produce UGC ads for external traffic

External traffic to Amazon (Meta, TikTok, Google) helps rank you for the keywords you're targeting. Use the . Real inputs:

  • Avatar: upload a photo of a person, pick one from Vuela's library, or describe the avatar in text and let the AI generate it (the form has tabs "Upload", "Library" and prompt input).
  • Product image / URL: the product the avatar should hold or talk about.
  • Script (prompt): what the avatar says. Free-text, between 5 and 30 seconds of speech.
  • Duration: typical lengths between 15 and 60 seconds.
  • Aspect ratio: 9:16 for Reels and TikTok, 1:1 for feed, 16:9 for YouTube pre-rolls.

The output is a vertical clip where the AI avatar holds the product and delivers the script. Generate 5 to 10 variants (different avatars, different angles: testimonial, comparison, unboxing, problem-solution) and run them on Meta Ads or TikTok Ads with a tracked link to your Amazon listing.

Step 5. Iterate based on data

After the first 30 days look at the dashboard signals:

  • Low CTR on the main image: regenerate the main image template in the Image Playground with new lighting or angle.
  • Low conversion rate: refresh bullets and lifestyle photos. Run the AI Product Description Generator again on the same URL with a more specific keyword target.
  • Stalled keyword ranking: increase external UGC volume to drive traffic and let Amazon's algorithm read the demand spike.

Every iteration is minutes, not weeks. That speed is the unfair advantage AI gives Amazon sellers who use it.

Scaling to hundreds of SKUs

The Product Description Generator accepts multiple product URLs separated by line breaks, so bulk generation is built in: paste the URLs of 50 SKUs and run the tool once.

For images, the Image Playground keeps consistent style across batches if you reuse the same template settings (restyle, relight, background change). For UGC, save the avatar + product combination once and rotate the script across SKUs.

Sellers we work with move from "10 listings per week" to "50 to 100 listings per week" without adding headcount.

Where to start

Pick the next bottleneck in your funnel:

  • No listing copy yet → .
  • Weak main image → + .
  • No main image video → .
  • External ads not converting → .

All four tools are included in every Vuela plan. One subscription, every tool an Amazon seller needs.
